On 10th July 2020, Andy Day and I decided to attempt a fastest known time (FKT) on the 83-mile Oxford Canal Walk from Coventry to Oxford. As far as we were aware there was no previous registered time, so we thought this would be a great way of getting our first FKT without too much pressure. I chose this route because it had special meaning to me as I grew up in Coventry after … [Read more...] about Oxford Canal Walk FKT

Launch of our Alpine Trail Run Camp in October

Hopefully, I can … [Read more...] about Autumn 100 2018 – Grand Slam in the Bag
Spartathlon 2018 – So Near, So Far
Spartathlon, a 246km (153 miles) race from Athens to Sparta in Greece. https://www.spartathlon.gr/en My first ever blog post is about this great race and my DNF. This is only my 2nd DNF in 32 ultramarathons and after three weeks I am still gutted. My other DNF was Thames Ring in 2017 after 134 miles. In both cases a problem with my left lower leg seemed too much to overcome. … [Read more...] about Spartathlon 2018 – So Near, So Far
